Veronica is a fashion editor with over seven years experience in fashion editorial, five of which were spent working at American Vogue, three of which were as an associate fashion editor there. She had the pleasure of working with its talented team of stylists, editors and directors working with them on and off set as they produced fashion shoots with Mario Testino, David Sims, Steven Klein, Annie Leibovitz, Steven Meisel and many others.
She’s contributed product, fashion and party coverage to Vogue.com and produced video and backstage shoots during fashion week for the Vogue brand. Her last year at Vogue she gained invaluable experience in art direction working with Raul Martinez, Vogue’s Design Director, as part of his team dedicated to the magazine’s redesign in 2010. She's worked as an editorial consultant for Estée Lauder Inc. and a stylist at luxury fashion start-up, Moda Operandi before accepting the position of Senior Fashion Market Editor at New York Magazine Online, where she presently works.
She's had the pleasure of working with:
In 2012 she received the award for most Outstanding Recent Alumnae from her alma mater, Scripps College, where she received her Bachelors of Arts degrees in Art History and French. She spent a year in Paris conducting research for her senior thesis on the Paris fashion show; its system of presentation, ritual, and its contribution to modern aesthetic theory.
She's constantly seeking more and more imagery to inform her sense of taste. Her joys include putting pen to paper, cheap thrills, class acts, fashion, fireworks, ancient ruins, paint, and great drum solos.
